The idea behind the knife
The 3DTi knife with Floe handle is with the 15.5 cm Survival blade the no-compromise survival-knife in our repertoire and the big brother of our Compact Survival blade. Like all of our knives, this model offers extremely light weight at 184 grams with the stability of a full-tang.

The knife in detail
.The handle
The ultralight and stable 3DTi handle made of titanium with the texturing in Floe pattern enables a safe handling even in sweat, wet and cold due to the uniform roughness. Together with the pronounced finger protection, this ensures maximum safety. Weighing only 72 grams, the handle allows for long work without fatigue. The hollow handlealso provides waterproof storage for our separately sold sharpening rod or other items and has recessed lanyard holes. In winter, the low mass with the poor thermal conductivity of titanium ensures that the handle is at body temperature in just a few seconds, even in wet and cold conditions, making it usable in all climates. We recommend this handle for glove sizes S-XL.
The Blade
Our Survival Blade, at 15.5 cm long, is the answer to the question "If you could only take one knife with you to be self-sufficient on the road for extended periods of time, which one would you take?" The blade is somewhat top heavy due to our lightweight handles, allowing for massive strikes with a low overall weight. The blade with 4 mm thickness is ground from the special steel Cronidur 30 and has a balanced geometry with good cutting performance at highest load capacity of the cutting bevel. The steel is particularly tough and extremely resistant to rust. The Ricasso provides long-term resharpenability.

Belt loop 41 mm for 3DTi sheath
This belt loop in 41 mm height fits all 3DTi scabbards except the TiNy-Basic scabbard. A 51 mm version is also available for wider belts. Important: Only the belt loop included, not the complete UltiLink mount on our 3DTi sheaths. A belt loop is included in every knife purchase that includes a 3DTi sheath.
Belt loop 51 mm for 3DTi sheath
This belt loop in 51 mm height fits all 3DTi scabbards except the TiNy-Basic scabbard. A 41 mm version is also available for narrower belts. Important: Only the belt loop included, not the complete UltiLink mount on our 3DTi sheaths. A belt loop is included in every knife purchase that includes a 3DTi sheath.
DLC-Coating for UniTi, Stealth and TiNy blades
Our 3DTi knives are now available with a DLC-coated blade (diamond-like carbon). Due to the anthracite-black, matt surface, the blade not only has a particularly high-quality appearance, but is also extremely robust against scratches and has increased corrosion resistance. The excellent gliding properties reduce the friction between the blade and the material to be cut, which in turn requires less effort when cutting. Our blades are stonewashed before coating so that the DLC coating has no shine and instead has a silky matt appearance - we are absolutely thrilled with the quality!
Our partner for DLC coatings (AxynTeC GmbH) has developed a special process for blades in which particularly low temperatures are maintained. For quality assurance, the hardness is tested before and after coating. In this way, we guarantee that the tempering temperature is not exceeded during the process and that the hardness remains unchanged. In our experience, this is unfortunately not the rule with many DLC coatings on the market. Please order this modification together with the 3DTi blade of your choice. Important: When ordering several knives, please indicate in the comments field of the order process which knife is to be supplied with a DLC blade.

Fire Steel with "Skull TiGrey"
Our fire steel comes with "Skull TiGrey" made of 3D-printed titanium designed by IsarCustomz and a lanyard. The fire steel is 9 cm long and can be used with a sharp-edged metal object to create sparks.
Our knives have a high quality finish and therefore no sharp edges. If you want to use the fire steel with your 3DTi knife, please order the knife together with the blade modification "Sharpened blade back for fire steels". Important: Only one firesteel and no knife included.
French Fork threaded for UniTi and Squad Models
This 3DTi "french fork" comes threaded for the end cap of our UniTi and Squad handles. This allows the fork to be conveniently stowed inside the handle. The fork is inspired by the classic design of the well-known, colorful disposable plastic forks. However, it is extremely robust, indefinitely durable and biocompatible. A must-have for anyone who likes to enjoy street food in style but doesn't want to carry anything extra on their keychain (see our "Classic" French Fork with Keychain Clip). Important: This fry piercer can only be used in combination with a 3DT- knife with UniTi or Squad handle. Not with the TiNy model! This fork is not compatible with the keychain from the keychain model. Fork only, no endcap included.
Knife Sharpener "Metamorph"
This knife sharpener is our own development and a very practical accessory for all knife fans. The special feature is its flexibility: the sharpener can be carried safely on a key ring but also fits into the handles of our two models UniTi and TiBa. The rod is screwed into the M4 thread in our caps and is thus secure against shattering. In a few easy steps, the grip cover can be unscrewed and screwed back on upside down. This creates a very comfortable grip and the blade can be pulled off in a controlled manner. The ruby has an unlimited service life and keeps even our wear-resistant blades very sharp for a long time.All individual parts are printed and finished in titanium. The high-quality ruby rod with 70mm usable length is cut to size ourselves. Sharpened Blade Spine for Firesteels
Our 3DTi-knives come with a high-quality finish that makes typical firesteels difficult to use. If you do not use a separate scribe for scribing firesteels, we can grind the spine of the blade of your 3DTi-knife for you in an additional production step. Please order this modification together with the 3DTi knife of your choice. No fire steel is included! On the second picture you can see which part of the blade spine we sharpen for you.
Titanium end cap for UniTi and Squad handles incl. seals
This titanium end cap for our UniTi and Squad handle comes with an integrated M4 thread on the inside, for example to carry our titanium french fork or our Metamorph sharpening rod in the handle. The cap comes with an additional seal.
UltiLink Velcro belt-loop
With this belt loop, we offer a new solution for all those for whom the fixed belt loops did not fit. This belt loop is firmly attached to the belt or other straps using the Velcro strip supplied. The connection is therefore modular, backlash-free and resilient. The clip fits over belts with a maximum thickness of 5 mm and belt widths of 35 mm to 65 mm, whereby the Velcro can be shortened individually. Is this option not yet suitable for your needs?
